Terms of Service

The deal, plainly. No gotchas buried in section 14.

Brian's Tools is software for auto shops, sold as monthly subscriptions through hub.brians-tools.com by Brian's Automotive & Performance, 1134 E Main, Puyallup, WA 98372. Signing up means you agree to these terms. Effective July 7, 2026.

Trials and billing

Every tool starts with a 14-day free trial, card up front. When the trial ends your card is charged and the subscription starts — unless you cancel first, in which case you pay nothing. After that it's billed monthly. Cancel anytime from the hub and the tool keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for.

Hardware

Paper Eliminator's scanner-included plan carries a 12-month minimum. The scanner stays ours — if it dies we replace it, and if you leave we'll tell you where to ship it back.

Your data and your customers

Your shop's data stays yours. The tools act on your shop-management system with the access you give them, and some send text messages to your customers on your behalf — you're responsible for having your customers' consent to be contacted, and messages always include a way to opt out.

Honest limits

We're a working shop that builds software, not a big vendor with a legal department. The tools are provided as-is. We use every one of them on our own books and we fix problems fast, but we can't promise perfection, and we're not liable for indirect damages. Our total liability is capped at what you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes

If we change these terms we'll post the new ones here with a new date, and email you if the change matters.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
